Why is my life boring?
I live in las vegas, have a house payed off, gainfull employment, money in the bank, i’m healthy, ok looking, My family lives in NY & i have no friends or girlfriend so is the lack of social connections what causes me to be bored?
I have been decieved in the past by bad friends & think there is no such things as friends other then ones immediate family…

You are bored because you have nothing interesting to do.
A lack of social connections probably has something to do with it.
Just because you were a bad judge of character in the past, and made friends with bad people, doesn’t mean that all people are bad (unless you think of yourself as bad also, for you are a person too).

Only boring people get bored, I’m not being horrid it’s just a really succinct way of saying what I mean. It isn’t about the bright lights big city. You need a change of scenery, go somewhere where the pace is slower, stop and smell the roses, so to speak. Have you thought of giving a little back? Some voluntary work? Relish your health.

That is true for me to, i thought there were no good friend. But i finally met a really good friend and you have to get off you but and look for one! You need to live life the the fullest or your going to live your life cooped up in a corner depressed. Also take some activities like sports, clubs, anything to make you active.

Well you have to surround yourself with those who are like you. Get to know people before you consider them friends that way you know if they possess loyalty or not. Don’t be so nice to people right off back, don’t give your all at first either. Scope them out just like they are doing you before you consider them friends. Maybe a person that becomes a friend my become a girlfriend. Casually find people who have the same interests as you do and you have money so go on vacation broaden your horizons to to Paris, Hawaii, the Carribeans, or something.

Get a hobby, socialize more, keep in touch with family , make visits to them ^_^ , maybe travel to a foreign country =] to me it seems your not doing any of this, it could be the reason for why you feel ‘bored’ with life. Just because someone has alot of money does not make them a happy person, the richest person in the world can be the saddest =/

Well maybe your use to your normal life that there’s nothing really worth being excited about and that whole friends thing yeah I understand I have a lot of friends and they hurt me all the time i can see how one would just give up you don’t really need friends to have fun just do something out of the norm and try new things congrats on the house and I hope my thingy helped you probably not so good luck
I can’t imagine my life without friends though I adore my family. You should try to socialize more because that’s what makes your life boring.
