Why did 0bama diss Vegas AGAIN?
President Causes Controversy With Vegas Comments
President Obama may have gotten himself in hot water with local officials…again. According to thehill.com, at a town hall meeting in Nashua, New Hampshire today, the President said, "When times are tough, you tighten your belts. You don’t go buying a boat when you can barely pay your mortgage. You don’t blow a bunch of cash in Vegas when you’re trying to save for college."
The comments prompted a strong response from Senator Harry Reid, who said "the President needs to lay off Las Vegas and stop making it the poster child for where people shouldn’t be spending their money." http://www.kxnt.com/
His first shot a year ago trashed the economy, and now he’s at it again… Telling US how to spend OUR money….
Is this another amateur screwup by the bloviator in chief? Or does he just hate Las Vegas?
FACT – I live in Vegas, and his FIRST comment trashed the economy BEFORE the sh\t hit the fan nationally… Now 15+% unemployment…. MULTIPLE conventions were RELOCATED to other venues… cost the city MILLIONS in revenue…. ARGUMENT FAIL!
And NOW he’s at it again… he is either ignorant, arrogant, spiteful or all of these…

Stick with his talking points:
1.No matter how bad things get, remember this… He inherited these problems… he didn’t create them! It’s Bush’s fault.
2. Make people believe that he doesn’t have an "agenda". He just wants to solve your problems now. Make people think that he doesn’t really care about re-election, he just wants to fix your problems… what a nice guy!!!

The first time he was talking about tax payer dollars paying for trips to Vegas, and you guys got mad. Now he is just using common sense and you are mad again. This man can do no right in the eyes of the blind. I didn’t vote for him. I don’t plan on amending that this coming election, but you guys are ridiculous.

That isn’t a diss to Las Vegas.
If you are trying to save for college and you go blow a bunch of cash in Vegas you aren’t too bright or concerned with saving for college.
There is a thing called context. I know Republicans don’t like to use it.

All I know that President Barack Hussein Obama is the most unqualified president that we could ask for. I didn’t vote for him and can’t wait to see him leaving the White House for good.

We’ll be stopping in Vegas on our way back from California either tomorrow or thursday night. It wasn’t on our schedule originally, but since his statement came out we decided to stop on in and make our usual "donation". Our way of giving the sanctimonious empty suit the finger.

It’s a hard truth, but is it wrong? Same goes for all the gambling for that matter. Politically correct, definitely not, thousands of jobs lay in the balance, never a good thing. I would imagine that he does not hate Vegas, but I would have to ask him, does it change any of the facts? No.

can you spell " straw man " i knew you could.
he was just making a point, you know people make points sometimes, or people ask hypothetical questions to see if people may have actually thought about important decisions, or just blindly listen to rhetoric. it’s funny when people have nothing, they GRASP AT STRAWS.

Maybe the Dear Leader Obama is retaliating against Reed (indirectly of course) for screwing up Health Care in the Senate. I’d be interested to see how animated and active the Messiah is when he goes to Nevada to stump for Reid’s reelection to the Senate.

We all know the game Obama plays, Misdirection, is his long suit, He has to have
someone or something or somewhere to blame. It will never be him always one of
the other three things I have mentioned,

Obama is ignorant of the fact that normal people actually have a brain. Obama is arrogant to the point where his wisdom is diminished to negative numbers. Obama likes being spiteful… it’s like having a good sneeze for Barack…. aaaaachooooooo!

You don’t live in Vegas…what Obama said is true, and the fact that people waste a lot of money in Vegas is a problem. All you conservatives talk the talk about fiscal responsibility, but then take offense when Obama suggests that gambling away money is irresponsible. The FACT is, you want to rip on Obama for everything he does and doesn’t do, everything he says and doesn’t say, simply because you have this hatred for black people in power.

Well, he is a smart person, so that’s not the reason
imo, could be he’s like some children: attention, good or bad, he craves attention. and he sure got it.

"When times are tough, you tighten your belts. You don’t go buying a boat when you can barely pay your mortgage. You don’t blow a bunch of cash in Vegas when you’re trying to save for college."
Someone should have told Obama, "And you don’t have expensive food flown all the way across the country to party at the White House, when the people who put you there are worried about how they are going to feed their children, and keep a roof over their heads"
I knew before the election that Obama was clueless and inexperienced, I believed after the first 6 months that he was simply an elitist who is out of touch with the regular people and just wasn’t a good leader, as of this point, he has proven that he is an arrogant, self-serving, self-aggrandizing, condescending, spiteful, childish jerk, and I am really beginning to dislike him as a person.
