What are the best places to live in the following states?
Washington
Colorado
Oregon
New York
North Carolina
Virginia
My husband and I are looking to relocate and get the hell out of Las Vegas within the next two years or so, and we’ve narrowed down which states we think we would be best for us. However, we are having a hard time finding information on these states concerning the better areas to live in. We’re looking for a place to settle down, buy a home that we can appreciate, and raise a family in a good community. We are also looking to have the benefits of living in a city or living within a reasonable distance to a city that offers culture, employment, & a decent cost of living, as well as other things. Any advice or links to websites is greatly appreciated.

Move to Chicago. I live here and its a great city. Its big but still affordable, there are alot of different towns within the city. You can live in Chicago and live in a bungalow or a high rise depending on which part u live in. The suburbs are great here also, I grew up in the burbs, in a huge Victorian house, but we had a downtown area w/ shops and restaurant and cafes, we have forest preserves so there were always deer in our yard.
The leaves charge in the winter and theres snow for Christmas.
I could go on and on, but Ill stop now. Good luck what ever you choose.

Washington – Seattle but would not be my first pic
Colorado – You could live in Boulder, which is only an hour from Denver or live in Denver.
Oregon – Strongly suggest Portland
North Carolina – Charlotte is not too big and a great place to raise a family
Virginia – Alexandria or Falls Church are great towns outside of the DC area
