I'm planning on moving to Las Vegas?

In 3 years I’m planning on moving to Vegas from California as my new home and to start a whole new life by myself with all my family and friends back in California. Also I want to have my own family with children and build a future. Does it always get boring in Vegas? How is the weather during the summer and winter? Is the income tax low becuase of the casino’s revenue? Does it flood alot during rainy season? Where do u go to ski and snowboard? What else should I know? What do you think?

Is it possible to raise craw fish in the outside Las Vegas weather?

I’m not sure if our weather will permit growing/breeding craw fish. I have a few that I have inside my home and they are doing very well. I’m thinking of placing a small pond in my back yard in the shade but I’m not sure if they will live.

Cold Weather = Warming Las Vegas Real Estate Market

Cold Weather = Warming Las Vegas Real Estate Market

With the Las Vegas real estate market, the warmer the weather reduces the chances of home sales. This trend is often referred to as the “mid-summer” seasonal trend by those in the market, so what does this trend mean for house hunters in Las Vegas Nevada? According to statistics from Home Builders Research, a total of 1,872 new homes were sold in June this year. That may seem like a lot, but so far this year alone there has been over 10,395 homes sold. So what does all these numbers mean for home buyers? It means that summer time is the perfect time to start looking for your new Las Vegas home, as the market is saturated with both new and existing homes. The cost of new construction homes in Las Vegas has actually rose recently, but is still down 2.2% from last year. Those looking for an existing home may find a better deal, as the median price of an average existing Las Vegas home runs around 7,900 and has dropped 4.1% according to Sales Traq. That does mean home prices in some sectors of the market has went down slightly, but no-were near to what some market analysts and experts had predicted earlier in the year. Yet that still has not slowed some sales in certain niche markets. A high-rise condominium will still run around 0,000 with the more luxurious running higher in price, and with condos selling at such a high price its bound to help keep the real estate values high on new and existing condos and new and existing homes. While the market is fluctuates, there is still plenty of areas with lots of homes for sale that have been sitting on the market. Both Henderson and Green Valley existing homes have been dropping prices, some by 10% to attract potential buyers or investors. Although its hard to attract buyers to buy a home, when they feel the price they pay now might be reduced in a year or so. The down-turn in sales leaves a lot of home’s that are empty looking for potential owners, although the market may suffer a few bumps here and there Las Vegas real estate will always be in demand. With new construction condos keeping the market prices high, some believe that it will not be long before the market heats up as fall looms bringing investors and buyers out searching for new and existing homes.

Roadtrip Question – Las Vegas to Oregon?

So a friend of mine and I are going to go on an adventure from Las Vegas to the Oregon coast next weekend.

1) What kind of weather can we expect for tent camping? We will be camping near Seaside.

2) How are the day and evening temps?

3) How long would you expect it to reasonable take to drive from Vegas to there – and then home from Seaside to Orange County, CA?

4) Any sites you think we should see along the way?

Would is be wrong to strip in a topless club for a while……………….? Anyone know about the business?

I’m out of ideas! The economy sucks so bad. I have a college degree but can’t get a job call back. I was laid off almost 2 years ago! I live in PA. I’m thinking of moving to Las Vegas and just doing it for a year until the economy is better. The weather’s great out there too. I don’t do any drugs or smoke either. I know there’s a lot of drugged up skanks that dance but can’t a level headed girl make a living and what does it really involve? Just dancing?

Thank you! :)

Do you know why the property prices in Las Vegas have fallen by as much as 50%?

I have done a general search. Prices of condo in the US have generally fallen by about 30%. But in Las Vegas, it is as much as 50%. Do you know why?
I intend to move to Las Vegas in a years time. I am not an American. Appreciate your advice on the law on foreign ownership, Las Vegas’ crime rate, vices, living expenses, possible lifestyle inclination, weather, etc. etc.

i wonder about las vegas?

i recently moved to las vegas, nevada and been here for 4 months. love the night life because my roommates seen to know alot of people who work in the nightclubs. everything you seem to need in a city can be seen in las vegas. anyways ive meet alot of people in las vegas even more at work.

alot of people ive talked that lived in vegas for awhile or even grew up here seen to hate las vegas. they told me they hate the weather, they hate the rude people, its a bad place to raise a family, not a diverse place, no culture except for the casinos.

i recieve so many negative feedbacks about las vegas. is there anybody out there that lives in las vegas that loves the place? seems like alot of former cali resident including myself are living in las vegas now. they probably home sick.
