If you were part of the Congress, other than the 0 billion bailout, what other ways do you think can improve our economy? Please don’t reply "deport illegal immigrants" thats old news. Its getting rough in alot of place and here in Las Vegas, more people are getting laid off, companies shutting down and today, a major car dealership shut down. Thanks.

Okay, my name is Diana. I have date my boyfriend for almost ten years. In the beginning he was perfect. Sweet, caring and we’ve been through alot. Here lately he has changed. Hes become violent towards me. It seems like he doesn’t even exist. We only have one car which is mine, and he takes all the time. Leaving me at home like a prisoner. I cook, I clean and I put out and for what to be treated this way? I work two jobs to make ends me and hes in scool, but only 3 hrs a day. The rest of the time I don’t know where he is going. He has a cell phone *mine* and never takes it. Ugh… Is it time to pack up and go or am I over reacting…. Someone help please…any advice given is greatful.

Born in raised in Las Vegas, NV for 25 years. I have always gone back and forth to S. Cal since the age of 3, now I’m thinking about moving there. It is too hot here, too dry, nothing fun to do except gamble and lose money. I love LBC but the economy is messed up right now and Cali is expensive from what I’ve heard. Would anyone recommend moving to cali? I ask because there are tons of people from Cali moving here and I can’t understand why???
Note: my second home, when I come for the summer is Baldwin Park-ca so I know alot abt california just afraid to make such a big move.

Do you really believe this bailout is going help. why are we building a train from la to las vegas so people can gamble? that’s alot of track to be putting across a big section of desert. Don’t you think there is more important things that this money could have been used for.

Hell i could have done a better job at helping country without spending a dime just by removing stupid laws.

I live in Las Vegas where alot of service industry in hispanic. I don’t understand how it is that with our large homeless population there are very few hispanic homeless. I don’t have a problem with hispanics, I’m of latin heritage myself. ( Yeah I know two different things) I just want an opinion. BE NICE!

I am about to buy a foreclosure in st george utah. I have a hard time finding alot of information on the southern utah market. I have followed it for 5 years but it does not fit into the trends of any other major city nearby. It is a whole seperate market from salt lake city. It is close to a phoenix or las vegas but it has very few jobs and econmy is so different. About 5 years ago houses were available for cash types prices with many under 100k. Then the prices went over 400k, now they are back in the 225-250k range.
I have watched anf there are more foreclosures coming but the majority are upper end 500k+ custom homes. I only want to pay 250k or less preferrably 2225k or less. With few jobs will the market fall alot more. Will land prices ever fall? Most land is BLM so developable land is a preminum. There is 37 year supply of lots but prices remain over 100k for .25 acre plus impact fees are over 20k some places over 30k to build with strict restrictions so building new is out.

Three of my neighbors who were renting and waiting like us re buying this month as well so is it time?

The place I’m interested in is about .5 or so from Red Rock Casino.
I’d like to move there in around a yrs. time or so.
I’ll see if the real estate market dips even more and work on paying off my debts in the meen time.
I’d be moving from a studio apt. in N.Santa Ana, CA. Can you give the positive things and negative things about moving to Summerlin/ Las Vegas area. I know CA. is very expensive, you don’t get anything for your money, the weather is humid alot in the summer and the taxes are terrible and only going to get worse. I sought a change would be good as renting a studio for 0 a month, you have no future or leverage

my granny and uncle lost all they have after the deaths of my grandpa and dad and they are both on social security, can they qualify for section 8 in las vegas? not separately they dont want to live apart, they are each others lives right now and have been through alot and stuck together and i need to find a way to help them find a home..their only income is the social security..i heard sec 8 would make them apply separately and my granny would get a senior citizen home and uncle maybe an apt but they want to live together she is in her 60’s he is in his 40’s..would HUD housing help them?.i need some facts i have been searching for days and no answers or help….

Hi, so ive been doing alot of research regarding possibly moving to Vegas on an F-1 Visa for school. I was wondering if there are any short term apartments people know of that arent total hole in the wall crack dens for rent in the UNLV area? Id rather have my own space and area rather than be in a dorm if i had the choice, but obviously id be going home in the off season from school, so it would have to be a temporary spot.

Does anyone know the name of the apartments rentals for students around UNLV? I kinda figured places like extendastay america and places as such sucked. I dont really wanna live out of the "crap motel" where i pay by the week either. I guess a semester at UNLV would be Sept-Dec and then Jan-May. So renting for 6 months at a time wouldnt be too bad?

Looking for a 2 bedroom that accepts pets 2 dogs well trained good dogs. Looking for a good price house in las vegas what place is good to live where there’s alot of jobs and the economy is good does anyone know. I would appreciated if any one knows.
