Real Estate Leads – what are they worth?
I’ve developed a real estate website for a client in Las Vegas but it appears as if he’s bailed on the project.
I am looking to work with a broker in the area but I’m having a little bit of trouble determining the initial worth of different types of leads.
1. Telephone lead
2. Email lead
3. New user / website registration lead (containing properties browsed, avg price range, locations, etc)
I’m not interested in working for a % with the brokerage, I just want to find out if there are any formulas to determine the cost of these leads and get the appropriate flat rate for every lead sent.
It looks like Homegain has a solution called AIMS that is similar to what I’m talking about. But no pricing info ![]()

Let me suggest a network television program called HGTV they are the pro’s in real estate. They show how to buy and how to fix it up. It is well worth the time spent watching it.

I work for a const company and we look at leads as they are only worth what they are. We have paid up to 200 per lead from the internet and they have all been junk leads. Unfortunately they are only worth what somebody is willing to pay for them. If they are a high quality lead then it would be worth more. But can you assure that it is a high quality lead. With my company we never would know that. You may want to structure it on some type of teared level. Or as a package. "10 leads = x $ or 5 leads = x$. or you may even have to set up some type of membership fee with a percentage charged even though you don’t want to. You can always change it latter down the road.

They are worth what ever someone would by them for! or How about 5 people buy the same lead. Yep. have you ever heard about a company called Lending Tree?
"When the banks compete you win"
They get applications and sell to five for about 20-30 bucks (about). Live phone leads are much more valuable maybe even up to 10 times.
Leads that you need to call back are not worth to much. my guess would be less then 10 bucks. If your site is bringing in that much traffic, maybe the guy who bailed out did .you a favor. How much you want for it? lol

You can not legally the sale them at any price. You have to have a RE brokers license.
