I’d like to know what you think. It is so obvious of all of the bad he has done, but some liberals look past this compelling evidence and accuse you of being a racist or right-winged. The DOW is as low as it has ever been in 12 years, it has almost fell in HALF since Obama has been elected. AIG just got another bailout, he used 1 MILLION dollars of taxpayer dollars to fly to Las Vegas to sign the "stimulus" package, so he would have a nice background instead of doing it in Washington. I mean all of the bad things he has done and he’s been in a little over a month! Can someone tell me something good he has done, citing your sources? I am here for an intelligent discussion, not you liberals who sit around and chant Obama all day and think he will save this economy. In Bush’s last year as president, he made stupid calls and did stupid things. However Obama is making these worse. Ronald Reagan once said :The government is not the solution to the economy, it is the problem of the economy" What he means is that the government needs to step back and let the people slowly work it out themselves. You say Bush spent billions on a war correct? Well Obama has spent over a trillion on what exactly? To fix the economy? Is that why the DOW is at a 12 year low? Because he is fixing the economy? Is that why America has record un-employment rates? I guess it is "fixing the economy"
In case you didn’t realize, tax cuts are a good thing to most people. However when Obama raises everyone’s taxes, not just people making 250,000 or more (It will happen, trust me) you will admire all Republicans before him for cutting taxes.
Sorry, mistake, he did sign it in Denver, however spent a million dollars to get out there. Closing Guantanomo is dumb, torture or not. What you don’t hear is that a suspect there was water-boarded and eventually gave up information to a terrorist who lived in New York and had full intentions and was capable of blowing up the Brooklyn Bridge.
I think torture is a good thing if it leads us to finding threats to our national security, yes!
And actually I’m a registered Independent. I voted for Kennedy, Clinton ( The first time) and many other Democrats throughout my life-span. However I did not vote for him, I do not think he is experienced.
And I do not think universal healthcare is a good idea either. And quoting Reagan, yes, it is a wonderful quote. Never before in a recession has the government been so active. They need to step back and let the people work it out. I am 68 years old, and I have been a history teacher at Vanderbilt University for over 15 years now, so yes, I do know my history.
To you talking about evolution? It is not an accepted scientific theory. There is lack of PROOF. Some atheist came up with a THEORY of it, still not fact. Like me, assuming you are a dumbass, I will need proof, even though I already read your answer in which you copied and pasted of the Zeitgeist movie page. That NWO crap, has been talked about for hundreds of years, and nothing has happened! Nothing!
I never brought religion in this conversation, but when someone said something about evolution I had to throw in my opinion. If evolution is true, then why haven’t humans transformed over the past 2000 years? Even just slightly?
And who runs YA!? I look at these answers and notice that all of the Republican answers have poor ratings, yet all of the liberals have 6 and 7 thumbs up. This is ridiculous.
