Just moved to back to Vegas, looking for work immediately!?
Hey everybody. Just relocated back to Las Vegas from San Diego, lived here for 4 years. I’m looking for work locally, but in a down economy I realize it ain’t easy. Applying at these casinos is a
joke and no one is hiring bartenders or food servers it seems.
Does anybody know of a good way to make cash here besides
being a taxi cab driver? Labor Ready has no work, and I have bills
to pay. Any help would be appreciated.

Try the new M resort they are hiring 250 people. I think mostly in the food service area

You can go to the states unemployment site, and use their job seeking services and they will in turn have links to state city county jobs too. Its a free public for the service, you do not need to be on unemployement to use their free services. Go to the malls and apply for work, look off the strip, unless thats your dream. Yes their economy is really bad right now, but things that cater to the locals who live there, are a better choice. Sears, target, home depot type jobs until the economy improves can hold you over. Also look for manufacturing jobs in industrial parks, those pay better than most jobs too.
