HOW CAN YOU TELL BEFORE A HOME OR PRIVATE LANDLORD GO INTO FORECLOSURE, I HAD RENTED TWO APTS SO FAR AND A FEW MONTHS LATER THE LANDLORD PROPERTY WENT INTO FORECLOSURE AND I HAD TO MOVE AGAIN, IS THERE ANY WAY ONE CAN CHECK LANDLORDS RECORDS
I RAN ACROSS THIS SITE IS THERE ONE THAT EXIST FOR ILLINOIS
What does www.LandlordCheck.info do?
We research public records. In Nevada, for example, before a home is lost to foreclosure, at least 2 public notices must be filed. From the first filing it will take 5-6 months for the property to be repossessed if the default is not corrected. Before the home is repossessed a 2nd public notice is filed. From the date of the 2nd notice, the home will be sold at auction in about 30 days. We will check public records for both of these notices and report our findings back to you. Our search is based on the SHIPPING ADDRESS you provide.

You can’t. Payment history on a property is not public information.
Once the foreclosure process has started, you can search the county records for a "lis pendens" which means something has been filed against the property…usually a lawsuit for foreclosure, but not always.
Other than that….there is no way.
A lis pendens will be filed before a public notice is sent.
