How can I get out of a condo lease(in Las Vegas) shared with a crazy ex-girlfriend?

Me & my girlfriend (at the time) & her 3yr old daughter moved into a condo last year, during this time we have been having more & more problems. Just last week I checked myself into a hospital cause I was sick & she showed out in the hospital for nothing. I left the ER early & told her I would stay in the second bedroom until i was ready to save up & move out but instead she basically kicked me out for 4th time. I’m fine with that (we are done) but now she wont let me get out of the lease & I cant afford to pay the lease & utilities & have a place of my own & i cant afford to damage my health anymore because of her either. can someone PLEASE HELP me with this stressful situation!?

Should I buy a house or condo in Las Vegas?

The best man to quote in politics?

A leader has the vision and conviction that a dream can be achieved. He inspires the power and energy to get it done.

A society that has more justice is a society that needs less charity.

Addiction should never be treated as a crime. It has to be treated as a health problem. We do not send alcoholics to jail in this country. Over 500,000 people are in our jails who are nonviolent drug users.

Every time I see something terrible, it’s like I see it at age 19. I keep a freshness that way.

For almost seventy years the life insurance industry has been a smug sacred cow feeding the public a steady line of sacred bull.

I don’t think meals have any business being deductible. I’m for separation of calories and corporations.

I start with the premise that the function of leadership is to produce more leaders, not more followers.

John D. Rockefeller wanted to dominate oil, but Microsoft wants it all, you name it: cable, media, banking, car dealerships.

Let’s not just look at it as taking votes away from Gore. Our support comes from a lot of people.

Like sex in Victorian England, the reality of Big Business today is our big dirty secret.

No presidential candidate should visit Las Vegas without condemning organized gambling.

Once you don’t vote your ideals… that has serious undermining affects. It erodes the moral basis of our democracy.

Our founders did not oust George III in order for us to crown Richard I.

People are stunned to hear that one company has data files on 185 million Americans.

Power has to be insecure to be responsive.

President Reagan was elected on the promise of getting government off the backs of the people and now he demands that government wrap itself around the waists of the people.

Sanctions against polluters are feeble and out of date, and are rarely invoked.

The corporate lobby in Washington is basically designed to stifle all legislative activity on behalf of consumers.

The function of leadership is to produce more leaders, not more followers.

The liberal intelligentsia has allowed its party to become a captive of corporate interests.

The networks are not some chicken-coop manufacturing lobby whose calls nobody returns.

The only difference between the Republican and Democratic parties is the velocities with which their knees hit the floor when corporations knock on their door. That’s the only difference.

The use of solar energy has not been opened up because the oil industry does not own the sun.

There can be no daily democracy without daily citizenship.

This (George W. Bush’s) administration is not sympathetic to corporations, it is indentured to corporations.

This country has far more problems than it deserves and far more solutions than it applies.

Turn on to politics, or politics will turn on you.

When strangers start acting like neighbors… communities are reinvigorated.

Your best teacher is your last mistake.

Why do conservatives try to blame low income people for the housing crisis?

Right wingers claim that the housing bust was caused by "liberals’ making it too easy for lower income people to buy homes. This of course is a lie but who cares, it sounds good!

The housing crisis was caused by the massive de-regulation of the mortgage industry. Just go to Las Vegas and see the blocks of foreclosed homes that were bought for a half million dollars by people who could only afford a two hundred thousand dollar house. These homes were bought at inflated prices through ARM loans, and interest only loans. They were told the home would go up in value to the point where at the end of three to five years they could either sell the home for a large profit, or else refinance. These were the six figure yuppie types that bought these places, not lower income people.

The government did not "force" banks to loan money to anyone. This is a Limbaughesque lie.

As for Bush seeing the crisis coming and trying to stop it is laughable. I saw a speech on You Tube where Bush is speaking before a group of Realtors in 2002. He says and I quote, "Just because people have lousy credit does not mean they have to live in a lousy home." He encouraged people with "poor credit to work with Fannie and Freddie."

Yes, after the roof started caving in the Bush Administration told Congress to do something. If Bush was as on top of this as right wingers claim, why did he never mention it in any of his state of the union speeches?

Mortgage companies are who we ought to blame. They were lending money to people with NO CREDIT checks, and lying about people’s incomes to get them into expensive homes.

The Republican National organization of Realtors were cheering as well.
Lower income people did not get ARM loans and interest only loans, the got standard FHA loans.

When Bush ran for re-election in 2004 he boasted at every campaign stop about all the new and "minority" home ownership.
The Real,
Even Alan Greenspan said that blaming the "Community Reinvestment Act" is nonsense.

low income people did NOT buy homes on anything but standard FHA loans.
White Power,

Bush did not warn anyone until the ship had sailed. Bush ran for re-election in 2004 boasting of all the new home owners. Low income people DID not get loans with balloon payments. Six figure types did.

Turn Rush, and Hannity, off and get real facts.

Why did Bush not ONE TIME mention this impending crisis in any of his State of the Union Speeches?
Warren,

The banks were NOT forced to loan money. They loved the government backed loans because they could make money with little risk.

Bush bragged in 2004 about all the new "minority home owners." It was part of his "ownership society."

Is Harry Reid trying to lose on purpose?

Reid’s latest racist remark has all but sealed his fate. It was so idiotic that he must have done it on purpose. Even he isn’t stupid enough to try and categorize a whole race of people, is he?
I think he wants to go back into Real Estate so he can mop up on the 50% of foreclosures that he and Barney Frank caused in Las Vegas.
Do you agree?

HOW TO GET FIRED AND COLLECT UNEMPLOYMENT? PLEASE HELP?

Ok first off I know it’s wrong in some cases but I hate my place of employment. I am not over exaggerating when I say my boss sexually harasses any female employee he goes behind them and makes sexual gestures and gropes them If they threaten him he has them fired. One time I heard him tell a girl take the next 3 days off and she said ok. On the 3rd day he had her fired for no call no show she pleaded her case but they took the managers side over hers. I went and told HR what I heard she said ok and went to the GM, he told the manager what I said so he denied it and still got away with it. The GM told him it was me so now I’m on his sh!t list. He’s trying to get me fired to the point that I can’t collect. Like he gets in my face and down talks me, he even called me a motherphucker hoping I will hit him or curse him out which I’m close to doing. We all think him and the GM are ripping the company off because I’ve seen them exchanging money and taking cases of liquor. By the way I’m a purchasing manager for a Las Vegas resort. The owner lives in another country so no way of contacting her. I have no proof I just want to get out of there ASAP. The F&B manager is a racist Hispanic who refuses to hire American and only hires illegals so he can take full advantage of them especially the women these people are miserable as he belittles them everyday. There is a few of us Americans in the office which he is targeting. He had an old lady in reservations fired because she threaten to kick his a$$ 2 weeks ago. Shes 60 years old.

Now I know there are ways to get fired and collect. I had a friend that got fired for calling in sick to many times and he was eligible and another was fired and eligible because he was fired for making to many mistakes. But are these sure proof ways or is there another way. I need out before I seriously hurt him. I even called some of my old friends from my old neighborhood and they’re more than willing to beat his a$$ on the drop, but I’m not that kind of person anymore. But this guy thinks he’s untouchable because he’s the GM’s lap dog so I think I would be doing everyone a favor.

Please any suggestions? I can’t quit because I will automatically be denied and I need income. Purchasing manager positions are hard to come by in a very, very competitive Las Vegas. Unemployment rate is 14%

What services does a realtor provide?

I am relocating to Las Vegas from CA and have no clue where to start looking for an apartment. I am interested in possibly hiring a realtor to assist in our search. Can you use a realtor if your only interested in renting an apartment? Do they charge upfront fees? Can anyone recommend a great website where I can find information on realtors in Las Vegas?

Besides your credit report, is there any other way an apartment complex can see an eviction?

Last year, due to employment problems with MGM CityCenter, I was unable to keep my apartment in Las Vegas and was forced to move back home to California. I was unable to pay the rent come month 7. I’ve checked my credit report, and I have no public records saying I was evicted. I am in a much better job making good money with Marriott and looking at getting an apartment with a coworker, but I am worried that because of that last apartment I will be denied.

So besides your credit report (and calling the property, which thank god is automated and no one at the property actually answers the calls) is there any other way to know that I left or may have been evicted?
